The idea for this bag was forged after a career in law enforcement. I wanted a chest rig that had a unique method of operation. One that was; (1) Quick and Easy to Put On (under any condition, no matter what I was wearing); (2) Allow me access to less lethal tools; (3) Hold my cell phone, so that I could be on the phone with the police while I was addressing my emergency.

I wanted to avoid designing something with straps or buckles because I had experienced difficulty using those fasteners during high stress incidents. Straps get twisted and can be distracting and buckles can be difficult to fasten because fine motor skills diminish with a significant dump of adrenaline.

So, I designed this bag to utilize rope and a locking cleat in order to avoid the twist of a strap and delay of fiddling with a buckle. The Cell Phone pocket on the back of the bag is large enough to securely accommodate the largest of cell phones.

I also wanted something that didn’t look like a gun bag. Something unassuming and benign. I thought being able to conceal my firearm until I needed it would be a good tactic. I am concerned about the liabilities involved in the use of a firearm, both from a criminal, as well as, a civil aspect. I know that most police departments record their phone calls and having some evidence of my lawful performance would be helpful. The result is the Patented defense system you see available here. How It Works

Draw the rear lanyard from the back of the bag and drape it over your head.

Drag your hand across the front of the bag and pull the waist lanyard from the front pocket.

Move the lanyard around your back and draw it down into the locking cleat. It is that fast.
